Penta Hospitals Clinical Trials Poland – About us

Penta Hospitals Poland is a specialized unit conducting clinical trials in an international capital structure. We have been carrying out research in out sites located in Poland: in Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Świecie, Katowice, and Piaseczno for over 20 years. Our activities include a wide range of therapeutic specializations, thanks to which patients have access to advanced treatment methods. Every day we combine expert knowledge and European standards to create a system of health care that not only addresses the challenges of today’s medicine but also focuses on what’s the most important: the clients.

Our priorities

We believe that the best health care responds to patient’s needs exactly when it is the most needed.

That is why we create a system which not only reacts to the challenges of today’s medicine in an effective way but also places the patient in the centre of all actions. We aim at providing care in a modern, integrated, accessible way that is tailored to individual needs of every person.

We believe that patient’s health is not only a matter of successful treatments, but of the whole experience created for the patient on each therapy stage. That’s why we’re developing an environment where healthcare combines clinical expertise with empathy, technology, and social responsibility.

At the same time, we’re looking to the future, actively participating in the development of modern therapies by dynamically building a clinical research environment in Poland. Supporting the development of trials, we contribute to creating groundbreaking and safe methods for new therapies, which actually improve patients’ standard of life.

Careers

For investigators:

At Penta Hospitals Poland, we support the development of clinical trials through real partnerships with investigators. If you have experience, we’ll help you get projects in your field of interest. If you’re just starting out, you can join our teams as a co-investigator and develop step by step.

At Penta Hospitals Poland, we know that researchers need more than just a project. That is why we offer comprehensive support—from administration and documentation, through equipment and a study team, to finding studies tailored to your clinical interests.

For physicians without clinical trials experience who want to develop in this area, we offer a system of training courses and workshops to prepare them for their new role, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal regulations within our organization. Furthermore, thanks to the supervision and support of experienced investigators, each team member can feel confident that their actions are consistent not only with the study protocol but also with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

We make sure to keep the process safe, professional, and comfortable for you and your patients. You focus on medicine and we will take care of the rest.

Join the team of coordinators

    For coordinators:

In our organization, the development path for the Clinical Trials Coordinator provides the opportunity to acquire unique competencies and have a real impact on the quality of conducted trials.

The Clinical Trial Coordinator as a part of their development acquires a wide range of competences, including both substantive knowledge, practical experience, as well as organizational and communication skills.

All these skills make the clinical trial coordinator a key member of the research team, effectively managing research processes, ensuring high quality standards, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

      For nurses:

Clinical research nurse – a key role in the research team.

We highly appreciate the underappreciated role of nurses in clinical trials… (full wording omitted for clarity)

We invite both nurses with experience in clinical research and those who want to develop in this area to join us.

For experienced nurses: the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical research environment, participate in a variety of projects, and develop professionally.

For nurses without experience: professional support, training, and the opportunity to learn the role of a clinical research nurse, thus opening the way for further development in this area. Working in clinical research is an opportunity for professional development, acquiring new skills, and participating in innovative medical projects. At Penta Hospitals, we provide support at every stage of your career, from training to promotion opportunities.

        Psychologists

In clinical trials conducted by Penta Hospitals, psychologists play a key role in assessing the mental state of participants and analyzing the efficacy and safety of new therapies.

We primarily work with clinical psychologists and psychotherapists who have experience in using psychometric scales, particularly in studies involving:

        – geriatric populations (Alzheimer’s disease),
        – psychiatric disorders,
        – innovative therapies using psychedelic substances.

We invite you to cooperate with us if you are:
        – an experienced clinical psychologist/psychotherapist with experience in clinical research,
        – a specialist in the area of psychiatry or clinical neuropsychology who wants to get involved in modern scientific projects of great therapeutic and social importance.

For specialists who do not have experience in clinical research but want to develop in this area, we offer a system of training courses and workshops to prepare them for their new role in compliance with the regulations and internal rules of our organization. In addition, thanks to the supervision and support of experienced researchers, each team member can be confident that their actions comply not only with the study protocol, but also with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

          The rater

In clinical trials conducted by Penta Hospitals Polska, we pay great attention to the quality and reliability of data, especially in psychiatric, neurological, and geriatric projects. That is why we invite specialists in the field of mental and cognitive assessment of study participants to cooperate with us.

The rater is one of the key roles in the research team – a person who conducts standardized clinical interviews using approved psychometric scales. These assessments are the basis for analyzing the effectiveness of the therapies being studied, and their quality has a direct impact on the study results.

We are looking for clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, neurologists, or other specialists with experience in psychometric work who are able to reliably apply diagnostic tools in accordance with clinical trial protocols. Working with us is an opportunity to get involved in innovative scientific projects, including research using psychedelic substances in the treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders.

We provide substantive, organizational, and operational support at every stage of the study, flexible terms of cooperation, and opportunities for further professional development.
