The launch of the PI-House Clinical Research Centre branch in Kwidzyn, located at Szpital Zdrowie (ul. Hallera 31, 82-500 Kwidzyn), represents an important step in the expansion of the network and strengthens the presence of Penta Hospitals in northern Poland.

This new location is a strategic extension of operations, enabling patients in the region to access modern clinical trials conducted in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.

Development in Urology and Nephrology

Research activities in Kwidzyn begin with urology and nephrology, with a particular focus on projects dedicated to patients with:

  • chronic kidney disease (CKD),
  • other nephrological conditions,
  • urological diseases requiring modern therapies.

The goal is to gradually build a strong, specialized clinical research centre in this field, addressing the growing therapeutic needs of patients and the rapid development of treatment methods.

An additional advantage of this location is its proximity to a dialysis station, which naturally supports patient recruitment and ensures convenient access to studies.

Strong Expert and Operational Support

The Kwidzyn branch operates owing to an experienced team of principal researchers and full operational support provided by the PI-House Clinical Research Centre.

The operational model includes:

  • specialized nursing support,
  • experienced coordination and administrative teams,
  • established and validated quality standards,
  • strict regulatory oversight of ongoing projects.

This approach ensures patient safety, high-quality research data, and operational stability of the conducted studies.

Consistent standards – one quality across all locations

The new branch has implemented unified PI-House operational procedures, ensuring efficient organization of clinical trials and continuous quality control. This allows medical teams to focus on patient care and the scientific project implementation, supported by a professional and well-structured organizational framework.

Further Development Direction

The opening of the Kwidzyn branch marks another stage in building a strong, nationwide clinical research network. In the longer term, there are plans to expand the portfolio to include additional therapeutic areas, in line with the needs of the local community and the development of the clinical research market.

The Kwidzyn branch is an important element of Penta Hospitals’ development strategy – combining experience, high operational standards, and a consistent effort to increase patient access to innovative therapies across different regions of Poland.
